Just a thought on Personal Grooming

Every single morning I do the same old thing; take a shower, do my hair, my face, blah blah. Looking good every single day is not possible and I get the odd days where I just don't have the time to put on makeup and I feel comfortable just in trackies and a hoodies, but the days I do make the effort to dressup nicely, its nice to get the odd compliments. I think what really gets me is when people say stuff like "Don't wear too much makeup, nobody's gonna be looking at you!" The thing is, I dress up for myself and not exactly to please others. I feel good about myself when I'm dressed well and that's whats important to me.

I wish I'd said that on my Personal Statement few months back, oh well... sh*t.
